iPhone 4 Won’t be Coming to India in September

I know its bad news for those guys who are desperately waiting for ‘iPhone 4′ official release in India.

It’s clear Vodafone made a statement that it is going to bring iPhone 4 to India in coming months. So everyone thinking of it will be going to release in September (based on Apple’s statement on 88 countries roll out by September) .

But according to the reliable sources ‘iPhone 4′ won’t be coming to India until 5-6months (may took longer).

Reliance iStore (Official Apple Store in India) people also told they won’t even service those iPhone 4′s (even officially unlocked versions from UK) which are from gray markets.

So i am going to buy an iPhone 3GS for the moment (as i don’t have an iPhone yet).You know guys..waiting is painful especially in case of iPhone.

How to Get iPhone 4 in INDIA ?

‘iPhone 4′ Apple’s 4th generation iPhone was already launched on June 24th in USA (along with 4 more countries). According to sources it won’t be available officially in INDIA until September (may take longer).

But there is a good news for the people from India who can’t wait until it’s release, because Apple releasing officially unlocked versions of iPhone 4 in UK and more countries.

Here is your choices for getting iPhone 4 as early as possible :

  1. Getting unlocked iPhone 4 through relatives/friends from any country where unlocked iPhones are available.
  2. If you can’t wait until that time you can order iPhone 4 on ebay (currently bidding is going on for 6+ iPhone 4’s on ebay (But price is definitely above Rs.50,000)
  3. Wait until it’s official release in India.

Note : Think twice before ordering on ebay, because 1 yr warranty for iPhone 4 may not applicable in India (as its coming from UK) and it is over priced.

Everybody in INDIA thinking that iPhone is over priced in INDIA, compared to other countries like USA, UK. First time i also thought the same way. Because we have seen that every time a new iPhone release in INDIA.Each iPhone exceeded the cost of previous one. right?
