How to Take Sceenshot on iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad

This is a simple tip for beginners/newbies to iOS devices. The following tutorial will guide you on how to take screen-shots on iOS devices like iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

  1. Hold both home button & lock button at a time for a second.
  2. If you see a flash on screen, That’s it. You have captured the screen-shot of your current screen.
  3. The screen-shot will be automatically saved to you Camera Roll in Photos (in PNG format)
  4. This trick will works everywhere (like home screen, browsing, watching video..)

Here is how to access & control iPod from lock screen in iOS 4 devices (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad).

  • Simply double tap the home button when you are in Lock screen
  • Now you will see iPod controls (Play, Previous track, Next track and Volume)
  • This trick works even when Lock screen is password protected.

iPhone 3G Performance Test on iOS 4.2

iPhone 3GS users got huge performance degradation with iOS 4. Later Steve jobs promised that iPhone 3G user will see an improvement in iOS 4.1, But iOS 4.1 made things worse than before. After that Apple is confident over their promise on upcoming iOS 4.2 which improved a lots of things on iPhone 3G compared to iOS 4.
