The following video will show you an amazing Glasses-free 3D demo on iPhone 4 which doesn’t need any glasses to watch the 3D effects.
The iPhone track the head of the user with the front facing camera in order to create a glasses-free monocular 3D display. Such spatially-aware mobile display enables to improve the possibilities of interaction. It does not use the accelerometers and relies only on the front camera.
This impressive work done by Jeremie Francone and Laurence Nigay of the EHCI Research group which is inspired from the work of Johnny Lee’s (Head Tracking for Desktop VR Displays using the WiiRemote)
